Three of Australia’s best-known chefs – Neil Perry, Guy Grossi and Guillaume Brahimi – try to fend off up-and-comers such as Sacha Meir, Herb Faust, Matt Stone and Julia Jenkins in timed cooking battles built around a “secret ingredient”. Iron Chef Australia host Grant Denyer and award-winning food writer Richard Cornish provide commentary before the resulting dishes are judged by respected restaurant critics Leo Schofield, Larissa Dubecki and Simon Thomsen.
